Finding the Fox

  1. Reminds me of how much of the wildlife here I see only occasionally or not at all. Raccoons occasionally come to eat the cat's food, and I hear the big pileated woodpeckers a lot more often than I see them, their hooting laugh making our neighborhood into a jungle for a few moments. His images make you so aware of the place and all the things that make it special, including how he feels about it. Thanks for sharing this poem.
